Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks an Underground (UG) Apprentice 1-8 to assist experienced crews in installing, maintaining, and repairing underground infrastructure. You will learn foundational skills, safety protocols, and perform a range of construction tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include trenching support, pipe/conduit work, material handling, and site restoration. Demonstrated teamwork and safety dedication are essential as you participate in training to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather.
• Willingness to learn from experienced personnel.
• Possess a valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Strong safety commitment and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching, excavation, and backfilling using hand tools and basic equipment.
• Support laying and connecting pipes, conduits, and cables under supervision.
• Load and unload materials and tools at job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper equipment storage.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Operate small power tools as directed and trained.
• Perform general labor duties for crew leaders or supervisors.
• Participate in training programs to advance skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with site preparation and restoration tasks.
