Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an UG Apprentice 1-8 to support underground utility crews with installation, maintenance, and repair of infrastructure. This entry-level role emphasizes safety and teamwork across diverse construction sites.

You will learn foundational skills, follow safety protocols, and participate in training to advance within the construction field. On-the-job guidance and a strong safety mindset are expected as you grow.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced personnel.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred).
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching, excavation, and backfilling operations using hand tools and basic equipment.
• Support the laying and connecting of pipes, conduits, and cables under direct supervision.
• Load and unload materials and tools at job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of equipment.
• Learn and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Operate small power tools and equipment as directed and trained.
• Perform general labor duties as assigned by crew leaders or supervisors.
• Participate in training and development programs to advance skills and knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with site preparation and restoration tasks.
