You will support crews by excavating, pedestal placement, backfilling, and basic cable management while strictly following safety and company standards, and you will ensure the site is restored with minimal disturbance.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors and lift 50+ pounds.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites and work with varied crews.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic measurement.
• OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Set and level cable pedestals per standards.
• Excavate holes and trenches for pedestal placement.
• Pull, route, and dress cables through pedestals; maintain slack.
• Backfill and restore work areas after installation.
• Follow 811 guidelines and safety procedures.
• Travel to different sites as required.
• Maintain tools and keep the job site clean.
