Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Laborer for our Telecom Underground team in Columbus, OH. You will participate in all phases of underground construction: loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment to install telecommunications cabling.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who can work in all weather, communicate clearly with teammates, and complete daily production reports. We offer weekly pay, PTO, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company is required.
• Previous experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment, and maintain work areas
• Clearly communicate with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Help with site restoration efforts
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
