Job summary

Congruex seeks an Underground Foreman Construction to lead underground telecom crews, coordinate field operations, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards in the Memphis area. You will manage daily construction activities, read and interpret drawings, enforce OSHA safety standards, and provide leadership to crews of up to 10.

A valid driver's license and at least five years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in underground telecommunications, utility, or related construction.
• Experience leading construction crews and underground utility installation projects.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews of up to 10 employees performing underground telecommunications construction.
• Coordinate daily field activities including conduit installation, trenching, cable placement, restoration, and equipment operation.
• Interpret construction drawings, assign work, monitor production, and ensure project quality and schedule requirements are met.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards while maintaining compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and jobsite resources while ensuring equipment inspections and site housekeeping are completed.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to field personnel while communicating project updates with supervisors and project teams.
