Job summary

White Mountain Cable Construction is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team to lead crews installing and maintaining underground telecom systems. You’ll ensure safety, productivity, and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, training crew members, coordinating with supervisors, speaking with property owners, and ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, with related work experience preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience; Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorization to work for the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines and safety standards.
• Train crew members and help with on-site supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints for underground telecom work.
• Ensure OSHA and DOT compliance and enforce safety policies.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor on daily activities.
• Discuss work with property owners and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
