Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC seeks a Foreman for its Telecom Underground team to lead crews, read blueprints, and ensure safety and on-time project delivery. The role requires at least three years of related experience and a valid driver's license.

You will oversee day-to-day field activities, coordinate with the supervisor, and communicate with property owners about work to be performed, while adhering to OSHA and DOT safety standards in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant work experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Enforce safety policies per OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities with supervisor.
• Speak with property owners to discuss work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
