Job summary

Congruex oversees underground telecommunications and utility construction projects nationwide. The Underground Construction Operator will operate heavy equipment, excavate around utilities, and install underground infrastructure while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Travel up to 50% may be required. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality workmanship, and strong communication with field crews and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR review.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine project requirements.
• Excavate around existing utilities and install underground cable and conduit.
• Inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Travel overnight to project sites as required.
• Represent Congruex professionally with customers, contractors, and the public.
