Job summary

Congruex is seeking an Underground Construction Operator to operate heavy equipment for underground telecom and utility projects. You will excavate safely around utilities, install infrastructure, and support field crews while ensuring quality workmanship and safety.

This role serves Congruex project teams, utility providers, and broadband operators and requires travel and strong teamwork. Key duties include reading blueprints, performing maintenance, and representing the company professionally

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment is required.
• Ability to work safely around underground utilities and utilities.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and work outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely to support underground utility installation.
• Review blueprints and work orders to determine project requirements.
• Excavate around utilities and install underground infrastructure.
• Maintain equipment and present a professional company image on site.
• Travel to project sites as required and work in various weather conditions.
