Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an UMI Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee underground maintenance, inspection, and infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, manpower, equipment, and client relations while ensuring safety and compliance on-site.

The role requires 5+ years in construction/underground project management, strong scheduling and cost-control skills, and proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of construction, utility, underground maintenance, inspection, or infrastructure project management experience.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Experience managing crews, equipment, subcontractors, and multiple active projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of underground maintenance and inspection (UMI) projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, operators, and field personnel for successful execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, delays, or cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with safety, schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts, change orders, RFIs, and updates.
• Manage budgeting, cost tracking, billing, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
• Establish and maintain client, subcontractor, vendor, and regulator relationships.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate communication between field operations and management.
