Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Production Miner for the Turquoise Ridge Underground Operations in Winnemucca, NV. The role involves operating jumbo drills, loaders, mechanized bolters, and shotcrete equipment to support safe and efficient underground mining activities.

Qualifications

• One year underground mining experience preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environment required.
• Stable, consistent work history required.
• Rotation of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate Single and Two Boom Jumbo.
• Operate 6yd and 9yd loaders.
• Understand rock types and blasting procedures to minimize over-break.
• Operate mechanized bolter and shotcrete equipment.
• Handle explosives and load rounds safely and productively.
• Install utilities such as ventilation and air/water pipe.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.
