Job summary

MB HAYNES Corporation in Asheville, NC is seeking an Underground Foreman to supervise the underground utility crew and manage installation, removal and wiring of underground electric power distribution for new infrastructure and repairs, including service drops from poles to customers. Candidates must have a valid CDL, pass background and drug screening, and demonstrate leadership and safety discipline.

Qualifications

Must pass criminal background check and pre employment drug screening.
Valid Class A or B CDL license or permit and current DOT physical required.
Underground power distribution experience preferred.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Safe driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the underground utility crew.
Install, remove, and wire underground electric power distribution and related infrastructure.
Train and develop apprentices on the job.
Prepare reports, submit timekeeping and conduct job briefings as needed.
