Job summary

XKIG in Jacksonville, NC is seeking an Underground Equipment Operator who will support our crew in building, repairing, and maintaining underground electrical distribution systems. This safety-sensitive, full-time onsite role reports to the Foreman and requires a CDL permit with ability to obtain CDL within 90 days, plus experience operating a mini excavator.

You will work outdoors, in various locations, often in inclement weather, participate in storm restoration, and help ensure equipment,

Qualifications

• CDL permit required; ability to obtain CDL within 90 days.
• Minimum 6 months experience operating a mini excavator.
• Able to read/write and communicate effectively.
• Able to travel long distances at short notice.
• Able to work for extended periods in various locations.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime when requested.
