Job summary

Sundt Construction in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Pipelayer with at least 2 years' experience in underground ductile iron pipe and water services. You will assist the foreman to lead a crew in installing underground piping, read plans, coordinate daily work, operate equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency.

Pay rate is $30–$32/hr, DOE, with 40+ hours weekly and potential overtime. Minimum requirements include NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a high school diploma, with 1–2+ years'

Qualifications

• NCCER Core Curriculum or High School diploma preferred.
• 1 year experience (Level I), 2 years experience (Level II) in industrial/construction preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman in leading crew for underground piping installation.
• Read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Coordinate daily work and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Operate equipment as required and maintain productivity.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and learn from others.
