Job summary

WW Clyde is hiring Laborers for an underground pipeline project in Minidoka County, Idaho. The work involves open cut trench installation of HDPE pipe, drainage structures, turnouts, and tie ins. Training is provided, pay is based on experience and skill level, with opportunities to advance as you gain trench experience.

Responsibilities include supporting pipe installation, digging, grading, backfill, and operating or spotting for equipment while maintaining safety and clean work areas on site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform physical labor for a full shift.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work the hours the job requires.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to work outdoors in Idaho winter conditions for the duration of the project.
• Experience as a pipe laborer or underground utility laborer.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification.
• Flagger certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work in and around the trench, including hand digging, shoveling, and cleanup.
• Assist with pipe installation, guiding and aligning pipe and bedding.
• Check grade using grade rods, lasers, and grade stakes as directed.
• Assist with HDPE pipe handling, preparation, and fusion operations.
• Assist with trench boxes and shoring, including rigging and signaling.
• Spot for equipment operators and use hand signals to guide equipment safely.
• Operate compaction equipment such as plate compactors and jumping jacks.
• Assist with drainage structures, sumps, turnouts, and tie ins.
• Load, unload, and stage pipe, materials, and tools.
• Keep work area clean and organized, maintain tools and small equipment.
• Follow WW Clyde safety policies, OSHA excavation requirements, and site rules.
• Work extended hours and weather dependent schedules as needed.
