Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America seeks a Lube Tech/Mobile Mechanic in Connellsville, PA to fuel and lubricate mobile equipment, inspect for wear, and maintain service logs. You will support mechanics with basic repairs and follow underground safety procedures.

The role requires independent work, strong safety focus, and clear communication with maintenance and operations teams. Training may include underground safety programs and site-specific protocols.

Qualifications

• Safe servicing and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment in underground/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of lubrication systems, diesel equipment, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow underground mining regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling and lubrication of mobile equipment including loaders and haul trucks.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections for wear, leaks, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain service logs and communicate equipment status to maintenance and operations teams.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Follow all site-specific underground safety procedures.
