Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining.
• Minimum 4 years of technical experience.
• Knowledge of underground mining.
• PE certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license; passport needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services for the design and development of Sandvik underground mechanical cutting machines.
• Develop drawings and specifications using CAD and engineering analysis.
• Support as part of a team to detail, document and approve designs.
• Review and analyze engineering and design specs for manufacturability, safety and feasibility.
• Provide MSHA and state regulatory compliance support.
• Assist field tests, commissioning, and customer site support.
