Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an experienced Underground Miner for the Goldrush operations, based in Elko, NV. You will operate jumbo/bolter equipment underground, perform drilling and blasting to support development targets, and uphold a strong safety culture in a rotating night/day schedule.

The role requires extensive underground experience, meticulous safety records, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with all Mine Operations personnel.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of underground mining experience preferred.
• Experience operating jumbos and bolters; Sandvik familiarity preferred.
• Excellent safety and attendance records required.
• Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals.
• Willingness to rotate nights and days as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground equipment to meet production and development targets.
• Perform drilling, loading, priming, and blasting per designs.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect and address hazards; maintain safe work practices.
• Prepare development headings including mucking, trucking, bolting, drilling.
• Maintain logs, safety reports, and communicate findings.
