Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Miner I Tech 3 or higher to join Exodus Underground Operations. The role involves safely operating various equipment and adhering to Loss Control, Environmental, and safety policies to meet site goals.

Responsibilities include preop inspections, lock-out/tag-out compliance, and safe handling of materials. The position requires teamwork and flexibility to work rotating night/day shifts at our Carlin, NV site.

Qualifications

• Comply with Loss Control, Environmental and NGM policies.
• Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate teamwork and safe work practices.
• Perform preop inspections on all equipment before use.
• Understand lock-out/tag-out procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hand, powered or mobile equipment to meet production goals.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform preoperational checks and inspections.
• Monitor equipment and assist in safe operation and traffic awareness.
• Carry out backfilling and related duties as assigned.
• Ability to work rotating night and day shifts.
