Qualifications

• Experience as underground miner or related field.
• Understanding of mining practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to make quick decisions in changing situations.
• Strong communication skills with the mining team.
• Willingness to work long hours underground.
• One year of mining experience preferred.
• Willing to join Underground Mine Rescue Team.
• Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with equipment operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Heading inspections and scaling down loose.
• Operate mining equipment such as Drills, Muckers, Trucks, and Bolters.
• Follow strict safety procedures and protocols.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to ensure proper function and identify maintenance needs.
• Safely and effectively operate mining equipment.
• Work rotating days and nights as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
