Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation seeks a Surveyor to provide accurate underground surveying for development, construction, production, and planning at the Curlew Mine. You will maintain survey control, produce layouts, and document mine workings with modern equipment and CAD tools.

This role collaborates with Engineering, Geology, and Mine Operations to ensure safe, efficient operations and data integrity for decision making. Must be able to work underground and in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related technical training preferred.
• Mine surveying experience is preferred.
• Experience with mine surveying principles, calculations, and control is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground surveying to support mine development, production, and planning.
• Maintain underground survey control, reference points, elevations, and control stations.
• Provide layouts for development headings, production areas, and underground construction.
• Complete development pickups, as-built surveys, and stope surveys; document mine workings.
