Job summary

DMC Mining Services in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Project Technician/Surveyor to join as a full-time team member. You will coordinate technical services, support construction and operations, and ensure drawings, BOMs, quality control, and engineering coordination are available to complete the project on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include setting out, primary control management, and support during construction, operations, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Mining survey/technician experience.
• On-site construction/operational execution experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including client/contractor interface.
• Experience in schedule and budget oversight.
• Understanding of design engineering codes and regulations in mining.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction/operational team for surface and underground work.
• Interface with mining crews and supervision to ensure metrics are captured correctly.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure requirements are available and on time.
• Recommend design or method improvements to enhance safety and productivity.
• Maintain on-site standards, specs, and drawings aligned with project standards.
