Job summary

Wheeler Machinery Sales, Inc. is seeking a Site Solutions Manager to act as a subject matter expert on underground hard rock mining equipment.

You will manage performance metrics for LHDs, underground haul trucks, and other fleets, and develop strategies to improve machine reliability and maintenance practices. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives at customer mine sites, analyze machine health data, and collaborate with Wheeler service, parts, and technical teams to resolve complex

Qualifications

• Underground hard rock mining equipment knowledge (LHDs, haul trucks) and major systems
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean/Sigma, or manufacturing process improvement
• Strong data interpretation and ability to translate machine health metrics into actions
• Excellent communication, customer-facing skills, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives at customer underground mine sites.
• Manage performance projects for underground equipment from scoping to results tracking.
• Analyze machine health data and failure history to identify root causes and reduce downtime.
• Develop maintenance strategies for underground fleets including inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Wheeler service, parts, and technical teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communicate metrics and improvement opportunities with customers and CAT.
• Build relationships with key customers to manage product performance.
• Create BI tools to track performance and reliability metrics for customers and Wheeler team.
• Participate in mine site assessments and travel to customer sites as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
