Allied Reliability is seeking a Mine Engineer for metals manufacturing operations focused on safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible zinc production.

The role centers on developing daily and weekly mine plans, designs and schedules, ensuring timely readiness of designs for execution, and coordinating with multiple disciplines to minimize interruptions and promote efficient work scheduling in an underground environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in mining engineering in an underground environment.
• Experience driving best practice within a department and into the business.
• Ability to understand business systems and extract relevant data for business purposes.
• Track record in driving continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Develop weekly and daily mine plans and schedules to align with the rolling 3-month plan (RoFo).
• Generate drill and blast designs and waste/back filling plans as required.
• Collaborate with Mine Operations, Geology, Survey, Geotech and Mine Design on plans and schedules.
• Visit Underground sites regularly to ensure execution aligns with the plan.
• Attend safety meetings and demonstrate safety leadership.
• Assist in development of SOPs and JSEA procedures.
• Support senior mine planner to ensure 7+21 plan complies with ROFO.
