Job summary

Pike Corporation is looking for a Class B Lineman Underground based in North Carolina. This semi-skilled position involves construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical underground distribution systems. Candidates must work safely with high voltage systems and may be required to travel to various locations.

The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of recent field experience and is able to handle rigorous physical labor, including lifting heavy weights and working outdoors in various weather conditions. A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of field experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 60 days.
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance, or repair work on underground systems.
• Work safely with energized and de-energized systems.
• Travel to various locations based on customer demands.
