Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an underground laborer to join our construction team in Maryland. This role focuses on safety, following instructions, and supporting site operations on various projects.

Requirements include 0-4 years of general construction experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days. Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required. Occasional travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years general construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record as outcome of motor vehicle records search.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card within 30 days. CDL preferred.
• Background checks may be required based upon position.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:

This position is for an underground laborer.

• Identify potential safety hazards.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be willing to work evenings/weekends when required. Travel for overnight and extended stay projects are possible and should be expected.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years general construction experience.
• A valid current driver’s license is required.
• Clean driving record as an outcome of a pre-employment motor vehicle records search.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation within 30 days. Having a current Commercial Driver’s License is preferred.
• Background checks may be required based upon position.

Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment . Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
