Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level field worker for utility systems in Salt Lake City, Utah. On-the-job training will be provided; responsibilities include learning to operate vacuum excavation equipment and recording field data.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and must be able to obtain a DOT medical card. Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required.

Duties, Responsibilities & Other

• 0-2 years of experience in field work involving utility systems.
• On the job training will be provided for all necessary skills needed to be successful in this position.
• The willingness and ability to learn how to operate vacuum excavation equipment and record field gathered data.
• The aptitude to learn various hand-held technology for the interpretation of utility locations.
• Basic computer skills a plus (Excel, WORD etc.).
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation is required.
