Job summary

A leading engineering and consulting firm based in Tampa is seeking an individual to operate and maintain CDL A vehicles. The role involves performing routine maintenance, identifying safety hazards, and completing construction tasks. Applicants must have a high school diploma, at least 4 years of experience, and a valid CDL A license. Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CDL A vehicle and trailer combination.
• Perform routine maintenance and daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Perform various physical duties as instructed by foreman to complete construction tasks; dig test pits, hand‑dig trench, etc.
• Identify potential safety hazards. Create a corrective action plan when safety hazards are recognized.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Experience placing underground cable is a plus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be willing to work evenings/weekends when required. Travel for overnight and extended stay projects are possible and should be expected.
