Job summary

GridSource seeks an Underground Laborer in Georgetown, SC to join our team and support cable placement and trenching tasks. The role emphasizes hands-on construction work, teamwork with crews, and adherence to safety protocols on diverse job sites.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, broadband industry experience, and knowledge of NEC/OSHA regulations. Physical work includes lifting up to 95 lbs and occasional travel to sites.

GridSource is seeking an UndergroundLaborer in Georgetown, SC!
Pay Rate: $18 per hour

The UndergroundLaboreris responsible for placing cables in trenches, splice conduit sections as directed, and more to ensure that the task is complete in a timely manner. They are also able to work with the crews and support the crews, supervisors, and project managers

What you will do:

• Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and materials.
• Has the ability to use a variety of miscellaneous tools and equipment to dig.
• Install different types of underground utility pipes.
• Has the ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Can uphold to the mission, values, and safety protocols of GridSource.
• Has the ability to travel to differentjobsites.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in the broadband industry required.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations and general safety standards.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 95 lbs.
