Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an Underground Laborer to support underground utility construction with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will perform trenching, material handling, and basic excavation tasks outdoors, operating small equipment and assisting skilled tradespeople.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (GED preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Prior experience in construction or heavy civil work is a plus.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
• Must live within or near Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Excavate trenches and ditches using hand tools and power equipment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities (pipelines, conduit, cables).
• Backfilling, compacting, and grading of trenches.
• Operate small equipment (tampers, jackhammers, cut-off saws).
• Maintain a clean and organized work site; clear debris.

Job Overview:Job Summary:**Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an Underground Laborer to perform a variety of physical tasks to support underground utility construction projects.
