Job summary

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. seeks a highly organized HSE Coordinator for a project located 65 miles outside Elko, Nevada.

You will administer and implement company-wide occupational health, safety and environmental programs, acting as the day-to-day safety lead and coordinating job safety initiatives on site. The role reports to the Project Manager, includes 14-days on/14-days off shifts, and offers room and board with meals provided, plus opportunities to advance within Barminco’s

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant underground hard rock mining experience.
• Certificate in MSHA required.
• Ability to prioritize workload with urgency and outcomes focus.
• Strong integrity and confidentiality.
• Effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Barminco HSE policies and Mining Safety and Health Act.
• Conduct safety compliance inspections and risk assessments.
• Develop and distribute HSE reports and presentations.
• Conduct regular audits of HSE programs and site environments.
• Maintain records and documents to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide on-site inductions and mentorship to personnel.
