Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience preferred operating articulated haul trucks (CAT 730/740 or similar civil earthmoving equipment).
• Ability or willingness to occasionally operate skid steers and small wheel loaders when needed.
• OSHA 10 preferred and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Haul Truck Operations: Safely operate CAT 730 and 740 haul trucks to haul soil, aggregate, backfill, and rock at underground utility sites.
• Versatile Equipment Support: Occasionally operate skid steers and small wheel loaders for site staging and material movement.
• Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily safety checks on fluids, hydraulics, tires, and lights.
• Daily Logging: Complete daily logs, maintenance sheets, and material load tallies.
• Jobsite Collaboration: Coordinate with site superintendents, excavator operators, and pipe crews for safety and flow.
