Job summary

Turner-Mining-Group-LLC is seeking a Haul Truck Driver – Heavy Equipment Operator for a direct placement role in Charles Town, WV. The successful candidate will operate CAT 730 and 740 articulated haul trucks on underground utility projects and may assist with skid steers and small wheel loaders as needed.

Responsibilities include daily safety checks, accurate logging, and close collaboration with site teams to maintain efficient site flow and safety.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience preferred operating articulated haul trucks (CAT 730/740).
Comfort with skid steers and small wheel loaders.
OSHA 10 preferred and a valid driver’s license.
Familiarity with civil site earthmoving and underground utility construction environments.
Strong commitment to daily safety checks and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

Haul Truck Operations: Safely operate CAT 730 and 740 articulated haul trucks to haul soil, aggregate, backfill, and rock across underground utility construction sites.
Versatile Equipment Support: Occasionally operate skid steers and small wheel loaders for site staging, backfilling, and material movement.
Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment safety checks.
Daily Logging: Accurately complete daily logs, maintenance sheets, and material load tallies.
Jobsite Collaboration: Coordinate closely with site superintendents, excavator operators, and pipe crews for efficient site flow and safety.
