Job summary

Turner Mining Group in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Haul Truck Driver and Heavy Equipment Operator to safely drive CAT 730/740 haul trucks on active underground utility projects. This is a direct placement, full-time permanent role on-site.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain daily logs, and coordinate with site teams. Must have 2+ years' experience, OSHA 10 preferred, and a valid driver's license. Willingness to operate skid steers and small wheel loaders as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating articulated haul trucks (CAT 730/740).
• Familiarity with civil site earthmoving and underground utility construction.

Responsibilities

• Haul Truck Operations: Safely operate CAT 730 and 740 articulated haul trucks to haul soil, aggregate, backfill, and rock.
• Versatile Equipment Support: Occasionally operate skid steers and small wheel loaders for site staging and material movement.
• Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily safety checks of fluids, hydraulics, tires, lights.
• Daily Logging: Accurately complete daily logs and material load tallies.
• Jobsite Collaboration: Coordinate with site superintendents, excavator operators, and pipe crews.
