Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking an Undergraduate or Graduate student for a hands-on internship in construction management within the Underground District. The role focuses on field engineering, planning, and learning key functions of project delivery.

You will gain real-world experience, explore career opportunities, and work on diverse underground projects. This paid position runs May–August with relocation as needed and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related.
• Strong motivation and work ethic with a commitment to safety and ethics.
• Ability to travel or relocate as needed.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering and operation planning.
• Cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, and contract administration.
• Supervision of field activities and coordination with suppliers.
• Review plans to determine material requirements and pricing.
