Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related.
• Able to travel or relocate as needed.
• Willing to work full-time during the summer (May–August).
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and safety awareness.
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, quantity tracking, and procurement.
• Perform engineering tasks with standard techniques and handle minor construction problems.
• Maintain records of job progress, costs, and material usage.
• Plan and schedule job segments.
• Investigate problems and incidents; identify and recommend solutions.
• Review plans to determine material quantities, qualities, and pricing.
• Work with suppliers to facilitate material delivery.
