Job summary

Pramira Inc. is seeking an experienced Underground Construction Foreman to lead field crews performing underground fiber optic construction in California.

The ideal candidate will supervise trenching, conduit installation, fiber blowing, placement, splicing, and terminations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will read plans, coordinate crews and equipment, maintain daily reports, and mentor crew members while upholding OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underground telecom/fiber construction experience.
• Hands-on with fiber splicing, blowing, and placement.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, prints, and fiber maps.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, outdoors work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews performing underground fiber optic construction.
• Oversee trenching, conduit installation, potholing, backfilling and restoration.
• Coordinate daily activities, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project specs.
• Maintain daily reports and documentation; mentor crew members.
