Job summary

AUI Inc. is seeking an Underground Foreman to lead and supervise crews performing underground electrical distribution work. You will plan daily tasks, enforce safety, ensure quality, and coordinate with project management, utilities, and inspectors.

You will mentor crew members, manage production, and ensure jobsite organization while working with heavy equipment and field crews in city environments. This full-time role requires 40+ hours and willingness to travel for storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in underground electrical distribution
• Experience as Foreman or General Foreman (3+ years)
• Familiar with PEPCO TOA requirements
• Able to read electrical prints and schematics
• Willing to travel for storm/emergency events and work overtime

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Journeymen, Cablemen, Apprentices, and Groundmen
• Plan daily workloads and coordinate on-site personnel
• Ensure safety rules and site cleanliness
• Maintain quality control and project coordination with management
• Operate heavy equipment and interpret site plans
• Maintain equipment and manage supplies on job sites
