Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an entry-level Underground Equipment Operator to join our field crews nationwide, including Alabama locations.

You will support construction, maintenance and repair of underground distribution systems, work around energized equipment, and travel as required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, communicate in English, and obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Safety awareness on energized and de-energized underground work.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to travel and work at various locations across states.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new construction, maintenance or repair of underground distribution systems.
• Assist with installing underground transformers and replacing fuses.
• Work around energized high voltage systems with safety precautions.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Perform duties at heights or in confined spaces as required.
