Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Project Engineer to design underground electrical distribution lines and review vendor civil drawings, identifying conflicts and generating plan and profile drawings. You will work with Design Engineers, technicians, and clients to ensure compliant, efficient designs, with opportunities to lead QA/QC reviews and contribute to design improvements.

The role requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree and several years of underground utility design

Qualifications

• ABET Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• At least 3 years of experience in general Utility Design or 1 year in Chicago Electric Distribution Design.
• 1 year of experience designing underground utilities including experience designing, drafting, and analyzing plan and profile drawings for distribution design, civil roadway or utility construction projects using AutoCAD or Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Design underground electrical distribution lines and review vendor civil drawings.
• Identify underground conflicts, route planning, and generate plan and profile drawings.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and coordinate with Design Engineers and stakeholders.
