Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1.5 years of experience as a Lineman B with Shelton Energy or completion of a formal 2-year training program with two-year field, or at least 4 years of verifiable experience including 3 energized years elsewhere.
• Complete OSHA 10 Safety Training within 90 days.
• CDL class A license preferred; must acquire CDL beginners permit within 60 days.
• Possession of climbing tools preferred.
• Ability to read and understand minimum approach distances.
• Desire to learn and commit to doing quality work while prioritizing safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or repair distribution facilities of all types while energized or deenergized without supervision.
• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in continuing education activities.
• Follow safety standards and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
