Qualifications

• Must adhere to safety practices and procedures at all times.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and electrical diagrams.
• Experience with climbing poles and operating bucket trucks.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in harsh weather.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices and procedures, such as checking equipment and erecting barriers around work areas.
• Open switches or attach grounding devices to remove electrical hazards.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Maintain and repair overhead and underground distribution systems and substations.
• Test power lines and equipment to locate problems using instruments.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate work with other crew members.
