Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman - Underground (Dominion) to support our field crew in building, repairing and maintaining underground electrical distribution systems. You will work under the Foreman, assisting with installation, maintenance and safety protocols across diverse job sites.

This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days, willingness to travel long distances, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman in constructing, repairing and maintaining underground electrical distribution systems.
• Perform new construction and maintenance of underground facilities and conductors.
• Maintain excavation equipment (backhoes, trenchers, excavators and pulling equipment).
• Work outages, storms and emergency callouts, including overtime.
