Job summary

Primoris T&D in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Underground Foreman to lead an underground distribution crew on electric projects in the Raleigh/Fuquay-Varina area. You will safely direct the crew, plan daily work, and ensure work meets company and customer standards.

Responsibilities include trenching, conduit installation, cable pulling, equipment setting, and reading prints. Strong leadership, OSHA compliance, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Underground electric distribution construction experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret utility prints/maps.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise underground distribution crews.
• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of underground primary/secondary systems.
• Direct trenching, conduit installation, cable pulling, and equipment setting.
• Read prints, maps, and work orders.
• Ensure safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Train and mentor apprentices and crew members.
• Maintain production, time, material, and job documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, customers, and field personnel.
