Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking an Underground General Foreman Supervisor to lead distribution crews responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing underground and overhead systems. You’ll oversee field operations, enforce safety, coordinate with customers, and respond to outages after hours.

This on-site leadership role requires experience in underground and overhead construction, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safe, compliant work while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising underground and overhead construction and distribution operations.
• Valid Class C Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily construction plans with crews and conducts site inspections for safe work methods.
• Collaborates with customers on daily activities and long-term projects.
• Enforces safety protocols and ensures field work aligns with standards and policies.
• Manages materials, field records, and work orders per manuals and accounting rules.
• Acts as Duty Supervisor for after-hours outage responses and repairs.
• Ensures environmental guidelines and proper handling of project materials.
• Provides training and development opportunities to crews, delivering feedback as appropriate.
• Protects company assets and sensitive information with integrity.
