Qualifications

• Underground coal mining experience is required.
• Certifications: Mine Examiner, Mine Manager, or Foreman.
• Respirable dust sampling certification or ability to obtain.
• GED or diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production and setup employees and perform mining functions in an underground coal mine.
• Conduct proper examinations as required by State, Federal and Mine policy.
• Direct supervision and coaching of employees for effective performance management.
