Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Cable Splicer who is safety‑focused and capable of constructing and repairing underground electrical systems.

You will work on energized and de‑energized lines, travel to job sites (including out‑of‑state locations) as needed, and report to the Foreman. You will lead crew members when the Employee in Charge is absent, train apprentices, install and repair underground power conductors, follow tagging, grounding and PPE procedures, and work outdoors in extreme

Formación

• Underground electrical work experience required.
• Ability to lead safety briefings and crews.
• CDL preferred; willingness to travel.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lb and working long hours.

Responsabilidades

• Construct and repair energized and de‑energized underground systems with safety first.
• Lead crew in absence of Employee in Charge; conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and related hardware.
• Follow tagging, grounding and PPE procedures; work in confined spaces near energized equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bucket trucks, digger trucks, and mini excavators.
