Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety‑focused Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems. You will work on energized and de‑energized lines and may travel to out‑of‑state job sites as needed.

You will lead crews in the absence of the supervisor, mentor apprentices, and perform live-line work with proper PPE and gloving techniques. This is field‑based, outdoor work with varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of underground experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair underground power systems safely.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground conductors and hardware.
• Perform live-line work using proper PPE, gloves, and tools.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
