Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Manassas, VA is seeking a Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and the ability to work on energized and de-energized lines. The role requires CDL and hands-on experience with underground infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will travel to out-of-state locations as needed and be willing to work extended hours, outages, and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Three years of underground experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair underground electrical systems, prioritizing safety.
• Lead crew members in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using approved PPE and test equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and travel to job sites.
