Job summary

Cornell University in Ithaca, NY invites applications for the Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator in the Nolan School of Hotel Administration. This full-time, on-site role supports undergraduate programs, oversees student clubs, scholarships, and staff, and helps deliver student-centered services.

The position is a two-year endowed term based in Ithaca, with standard hours 8:00am–4:30pm Monday–Thursday and 8:00am–3:30pm Fridays.

Qualifications

• Collaborative, detail-oriented team member who builds relationships with campus partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leaders and students.
• Ability to multitask in a high-traffic office and prioritize duties.
• Experience in student services or higher education is preferred.
• Familiarity with administrative software and databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, promote, and execute OSS events and programs with campus partners.
• Advise 10+ undergraduate clubs on planning, policy, and budget matters.
• Manage scholarship and award processes, including communications and logistics.
• Supervise 2–3 undergraduate student employees (hiring, training, scheduling, payroll).
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Student Services and coordinate projects.
• Support front office operations and responsive service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
